Jesus’ return

WHEN and HOW IS CHRIST COMING AGAIN?
by Ibn Anwar

“When is Christ coming again? Since the time that Jesus went to Heaven, men have tried to say when He will return. Yet the Bible clearly teaches that no man knows when Christ will return. “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only” (Matthew 24:36)”(King James Version)..from tftw.org

VS.

“No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father” (Matthew 24:36)” (Revised Standard Version)

Where did “nor the Son” go in the KJV of Matthew 24:36? This is how Christians mint the “words of God”. One moment it’s there, the next it’s not or vice versa.

Da’wah

What is Da’wah?

By Ibn Anwar

Da’wah literally means “Invitation”. However, in its complete and wholesome definition, Da’wah means an Invitation to the truth. It is an invitation to Islam.

During the Prophet Muhammad’s s.a.w. life, his biggest and main job was Da’wah and he did it for 23 long years until the age of 63 in which he returned to God. The Prophet s.a.w. went through hell in his efforts to convey the message of Islam to his paganistic people(the Quraisy). He was bombarded with a barrage of ridicule and insults, physically abused, almost assassinated and assaulted militarily, yet never did he give up or laid down his banner.  In an incident where the pagan Quriasy had really gotten tired and annoyed of Muhammad’s s.a.w. preaching while he was still in Mecca, the leaders of the city convened and sent the Prophet’s grandfather who was then his guardian and protector to persuade his grandson to cease preaching. They formulated a bargain that if Muhammad s.a.w. would stop, they would be willing to make him their over lord, give him the keys to the Ka’bah, give him all the riches in Mecca and all the women he would ever want. His grandfather presented the offer to his grandson. In response the Prophet s.a.w. said,”Even if they place the sun in my right hand and the moon in my left hand I will not renounce my religion or stop preaching it until it has prevailed or I die trying.” This was the spirit emanated from the mighty messenger of God in which we ought to emulate! As Muslims we know that it is imperative that we follow Muhammad s.a.w. our Prophet both in teaching and action, so far as we are able. In the Prophet’s s.a.w. Farewell Sermon/ Khutbah Hajjatul Wada, he said,’ O people; reflect on my words. I leave behind me two things, The Qur’an and my sunnah(way)[found in ahadith], and if you follow these you will not fail. Thus we are instructed to follow the Prophet’s s.a.w. path. If Da’wah was what he lived by and one of the major things he committed to then it necessarily implies that we must also do da’wah, each and everyone of us(with the exemption of children and the mentally ill and handicapped).

Brief Introduction to Islam

Islam is a complete Way of Life. It takes into account both the temporal and spiritual aspect of life. It is comprehensive and timeless.

Religion ( Islam ) as we know it according to the Quran was established from the beginning with Adam, right up to Jesus and ending with Muhammad. The Quran confirms this in the following verse:
” The same religion has he established for you as that which He enjoined on Noah, which We sent by inspiration to thee and that We enjoined on Abraham, Moses and Jesus, namely that you should remain steadfast in religion and make no divisions therein as those who worship other things than Allah. Hard is the way to which thou callest them. Allah chooses to Himself those whom He pleases, and guides to Himself those who turn ( to Him ).” (Quran Chp.42 Verse 13).

Jewish vs. Muslim view on Jesus a.s.

Jewish vs. Muslim view on Jesus a.s.

By Ibn Saad

Edited by Ibn Anwar

I, Ibn Sa’ad, was on a Mainstream Jewish site, called “Judaism 101 and I was suprised to see what they had under the secion “What does the Talmud say about Jesus?”:

” Rambam and many other prominent Jewish scholars believed that the stories of Jesus are based on Yeshu ben Pandeira, also known as Yeshu ha-Notzri (”Jesus the Branch,” a reference to Isaiah 11:1, a passage about the messiah).”

The position of the Talmud in the Judaeic tradition:

The Talmud is probably the most important Jewish book, even more important than the Bible, even though the Bible is older and holier. The Jewish way of doing things (halakhah) is based on the Talmud much more than on the Bible. Many of the ideas and stories of Jewish life come to us from the Talmud.”

(KOLEL: The Adult Centre for Liberal Jewish Learning)

“The Talmud was created by the Jewish people and the Talmud has, in turn, molded them as a nation.”

“… Talmud constitute the backbone of diverse Jewish knowledge..”

An Eye-Opening Biblical Narration

An Eye-Opening Biblical Narration

By Ibn Anwar

The following is one of the most interesting Biblical stories I’ve come across. I thought I’d share it with the readers.

Many Christians like Sam Shamoun, Craig Wynn and others simply love going around bad mouthing the Qur’an, saying that it contains perverted, nonsensical teachings. Let us have have a glimpse of their “sensical” Bible.

Is Jesus Christian?

Is Jesus a Christian?

by Ibn Anwar

Recently , on paltalk a Christian entered my room “The Traditional Order of Islam” and asked the room about Jesus. He enquired, ” Muslims believe Jesus is a Muslim. Is this supported anywhere in the Bible?” Before I gave any answer I countered,”What do you think Jesus was?” Unhesitantly, he replied,”His name is Jesus CHRIST, he was Christian, duh”. This article is a humble attempt in response to such queries posed by Christians to Muslims.
